Flat Sand Valve FSV 60
Manually operated abrasive metering valve
A flat sand valve (FSV) is a manually operated media valve used to meter the abrasive from the bottom of the blast machine to the blast hose. The handle’s range of motion allows the operator to dislodge moist abrasives and blockages without needing to disassemble the valve.
The 45-degree design of the flat sand valve enables a smooth and consistent flow of abrasives. The operator may adjust the metering handle until the optimal abrasive flow is achieved. The flat sand valve is most suitable for expendable-type abrasives and slag abrasives, such as copper slag and crushed glass.
